We've had both. We prefer the 5th. Mostly because the layouts inside are superior and there are many more options.
Travel isn't quite as nice as a Class A but still quite nice. Occasionally I'll have to setup in the rain, which I would of done anyway in my Class A but I did have the option to not bother with it until morning if I wanted. Never happened but i could of waited.
For us there is really no comparison. Fifth wheels just have better interiors and better floor plans. The slight differences when traveling aren't worth it to us to swing us back to a Class A.
