The DW and I both don't care for the hose taste of water so we do this. We buy gallon jugs of water from WalMart for 88 cents each and use them just for drinking water. Sure makes the taste of coffe...

I do NOT ever drink or use the water for cooking from the RV holding tank. There's a whole nuther thread going on about that!
Regarding coffee making:
If you really want a GREAT tasting cup of coffee buy a bottle of 'distilled water'.(not the one from the baby isle that has a ton of junk added to it) Just 100% pure distilled water from the bottled water isle.
Once you go distilled water for coffee you will never go back!
