Cleaning rubber roof with bleach

This is what I've used on the rubber roof on my last 2 trailers the past 13 yrs, cleans easy with little elbow grease...never had any issues. Just follow the directions

Dawn dishsoap and a soft brush. Every once and a while I use Clorox cleanup spray where there is mildew or stains. Works well and I can control where I apply bleach cleaner. I park my rig near trees at home and mildew develops if I don't stay on top of it. That mildew causes black streaking on the sides.

I bought a rv roof cleaner at Canadian Tire. Cost me 20 bucks. Worked great. Why take a chance for 20 bucks.

Don't use the Magic Eraser on gelcoat or clearcoat. It will remove it along with the paint if your not careful!!!

For the rubber roof - Spic n Span powder and a long handled brush.

You need to think trough whatever you decide to clean the roof with. Remember it will have to run down the side. Not sure what the side of your unit is but be careful it does not ruin the finish on your side walls.

Yes, wear white and wet roof first use a bucket with Chlorine bleach and Blue Coral Wash and wax. The Mixture bleaches, washes and waxes. Use about a quart of each then fill bucket with water. Get a stiff bristle brush on a long handle so you can stand while washing. Start at front and work your way back to the rear ladder. Let the front stay with mixture on it until you finish the entire roof, and then go to front and rinse your way back. Chlorine in water turns to salt so rinse lawn or shrubs near RV. The same mixture cleans sidewalls, front and rear tires and awnings, that can be washed from roof if you put them down before you start. Finishing the awnings from the ground as the mixture flows down. I've been using that protical for years and it does a great job. Not only does it clean but it waxes, and waterproofs awnings due to the 10% bees wax in the Blue Coral wash and wax,(Walmart $3.95).

A mild detergent and soft bristle brush is what I use. Comes out looking like new.
