Cleaning Weber Q-Inside and out and around the burner

Every 6m I scrape the inside and poke the holes. I don't try to clean it. After each cooking I wire brush the grate.
Well I agree this only happens when the darn thing is so crusty I can't get enough flame to heat my food. Once every few months is about right. We have replaced the darn thing once. I love my Q grill.
