Thanks for all the replies folks. I removed the clearance light yesterday. Tied into the light with my camera wires. sealed all the screws and wiring hole with proflex. Mine is an inexpensive camera so I will test it with the tranmitter in the rear sitting on a medicine cabinet. The way I wired it I can move the transmitter to the front of the TT if needed and just run a video cable to it while traveling.
BTW the wiring to my light was black / black. They were connected to a white and light green or light blue wire.
Took me a while to solder with the piece of **** solder gun I bought from Home Depot. It is going back. (My 25 yr old soldering gun that got flooded and tossed during Mathew was better).
