We just discovered vacuum bags at a dollar store. They certainly reduce the volume of clothing.
How about putting some clothes under the mattresses?
Pack fewer clothes and wear them longer?
Under our "master" bed there would be so much space but utilizing that often is so difficult. I've seen where some beds have those hinges or whatever, like a lift hatch of a vehicle so it lifts easier. I wonder if the husband could retrofit the bed for our next trip. Probably won't be enough time before the one coming up. But that is such a huge unused space.
We don't take too much clothes and if where we are going the temperatures are pretty consistent, helps to not have to bring clothes to cover many ranges of temps.
