CO/ LP Alarm Early Fail
1.5 years in and this $135 dual alarm chimmed its EOL alarm. MCI claims a five year lifetime. Is fulltime living harder on these components?

I just installed an Atwood CO/LP detector, the manual states it has a 7 year lifespan from the time it is first powered up, +/- 128 days.
