It should, generally speaking. I was told to expect 24-48hr charge time. I would imagine this assumes a good battery. BTW, if you remove the caps and can see the top of the plates it will never hold a charge. If you find this to be the case water it up and look for corroded ground to the trailer frame. A poor ground set up can cause your battery to boil out by overcharging as the excess voltage if force fed.
