The problem with electric coffee pots is you need electricity to make coffee. That's fine if you're always at a hookup or don't mind running the generator. I tried using a 12v coffee pot and running off the inverter, but one pot would take my batteries into the red, it only made two small cups and it took forever. I finally settled on an old style stove top percolator. The one I use is
this one. The only downside is the clear percolator knob is cloudy and cracked, but the good news is the manufacturer is sending me a new one at no charge!
