coffee maker?

We have used the same Pyrex top of the stove pot for over 30 years. As long as we put it away during travel (in the tote with the dish towels around it), we had no problem. Last summer we had the first oops with it, however...new trailer, didn't have visual access to the stove from the door, drove off and it went onto the floor. Broke the pot, but not any of the insides or the lid. We tried an electric, but it took too much counter space. Lots of scouring second hand stores, but we found another pot that just happened to be missing the parts we still had. You can bet we won't forget to put it away again.
