cold !

I am in Louisiana 20 miles away from Texas, it was 73 degrees here an hour ago, just before midnight, now it is down to 43 and falling fast. Forecast calls for a low in the mid 20's for tomorrow night.

Just looked, it is -33 right now! Yesterday high of -7, so not surprised. I think it's just payback, for the beautiful November we had.

My FW is supposed to have the cold temp crack proof vinyl flooring. I hope it works as advertised!

Yesterday's high temperature in Dallas was 72 degrees F. At 6 AM today it's 17 degrees F with a wind chill of 2 degrees F. :E

We've had temps swings like that in Michigan - I'll go to do the laundry and marvel at having shorts, T-shirts, turtlenecks and sweatshirts all in the same basket....

-24F, right now and it may slip another degree or two. Not much fun in going anywhere but staying put with the telly on, watching football. I bet that Green Bay game is going to be interesting.

Use to live in Wichita Falls TX back in the 60s-70s... Weather sure does change alot there... Sort of like if you don't like the weather just wait a few minutes haha... Not a whole of snow but look out for the ice... They have such a extreme weather condition called a Blue Northern...

The artic blast coming down from Canada is there already...

We have had round one of the artic blast here in northern Neck Virginia for the past two days... Had my wood burning fireplace going full speed - toasty warm... Today it is 55 outside - just got back in walking the pooch... will be in the mid 20s tonight

Suppose to hit us with Round two WX Channel tells us... Gonna be fun watching Soldier Field in Chicago NFL game today...

I'm in Rockport Texas, went to bed last night with 2 fans running and a window open. Woke up about 15 minutes ago to 37 kicked on the furnace, fireplace and a space heater. Starting to feel nice in here now but I guess we won't be sitting outside for Happy Hour anytime soon.

Yeah, that Blue Norther surprised the heck out of me one day in Houston, TX. I was down there pulling under ground wire for the phone company. When I climbed down into the hole it was 75f. When I came back out it was like 40 something and sporadic snowflakes were in the air.
