Bear in mind that 32 deg. is the point that water starts to freeze.
It would take a very long time at 29 deg. to freeze an RV to the point of damage.
Don't forget, even at 50 deg. but with sunshine the unit will be warmed well above 50, all that heat would have to lost before those lower temperatures mean anything.
I've had mine in conditions far worse than that many times and it never even got cold enough for the furnace to kick in with the stat set to 45 degrees.
