Coleman LED string light

Is anyone using the Coleman LED battery operated string light and if so how do you like them? They are the ones that look like little lanterns.

  • I have used mine for a couple years at scout camp, always worked fine on the original set of batteries.
  • I've got two strings of the 110v version with the flickering bulbs. Looks like a little candle flame flickering in them.
  • Saw that Big Lots has electric lantern lights, not Coleman but still pretty neat looking. They have a variety of solar and battery lights, so I may have to add to my collection, since I only have a pair of silk round lanterns that are solar.

Got a set that has survived three years of camping in all kinds of conditions, still going strong. If they are turned off before one leaves, they can last a while on a set of batteries.
  • We gave 2 sets to a cousin that has a campsite without power, they like them. Got them in Alabama at the Coleman outlet near Gulf Shores.
  • We gave a strand of these that we were using to a little boy in the campsite next to us last August! He was mesmerized by them!
