Frank. - TNRIVERSIDEExplorerWe bought our Coleman Travel Trailer late last year and we are pleased with it. Quality is better then most IMO. Floor plan seems to be the biggest driver for most of us.
- bikendanExplorerColeman popups went out of business, so that's why the Coleman name has been up for sale for RV's.
CW bought rights to the name for travel trailers and now Livin Lite has bought it for a line of tent campers. - mlts22Explorer IIIn the long past (80s-90s), I found that Coleman popup trailers were definitely a class above the Starcrafts and Jaycos with engineering. Things like having two crank ports at different gearings, a fold-out step (so the trailer's door can just be dropped into place and easily locked by moving the step up and locking it), bed braces permanently attached, no need to add reinforcers to the poles, and many other small, but nice details.
Not sure how they are these days. In fact, I think Coleman has gone out of business in the popup market... I see hard-sided TTs, but not the tent trailers that used to be very good units. - ken56ExplorerWe bought a Coleman 268rk unit this past Jan. We are in it now for the first time for the next 10 days. So far we are pleased with it. Quality is good in my opinion. You get what you pay for and these units are not "high end" nor are they "cheap junk". I can see us using our trailer for many years to come. I have no concerns as to reliability because all the appliances are the same as in any other brands, axles are by Lipert and tires are brand name. what else would be of your concern?

Coleman popup trailErs?
You missed theIr... - bikendanExploreryou need to specify which Coleman trailers you're talking about, popups or travel trailers.
the travel trailers are made by Dutchmen for Camping World, who has the exclusive rights to the Coleman name for travel trailers.
the Coleman TT's are exact copies of other Dutchmen TT's, just different outside graphics and interior decor.
so, they would be the same as any Dutchmen product. as far as i know, they would be serviced by any CW, nationwide. - robsouthExplorer IIColeman popup trailErs?
