Colour of water hose
The water hose between the tap and the trailer, why are they white? Any issues with using a new garden hose instead?

THe color of the hose is whatever the maker wishes it to be. Typically they use WHITE for Fresh water (Potable water) but there is no "Standard" just "Tradition".
I do use color coded hoses here
White = Fresh water, so does clear
Green, Flush/Wash, Water the lawn.. Mop the roof
Gray.. I have three waste tanks. Black and Gray 1 are tied at the main dump port "Gray 2" really wash is at a distance. It is for the Shower and main bath lavs only. IT gets a GRAY hose.
I have a portable macerator.. BLACK HOSE
