Colour of water hose
The water hose between the tap and the trailer, why are they white? Any issues with using a new garden hose instead?

If you have lime or calcium in your water you are safer. Softened water in lead in pipes and fittings; you will get a good dose of lead etc and the lead will erode over a shorter time.
