Colour of water hose
The water hose between the tap and the trailer, why are they white? Any issues with using a new garden hose instead?

Back in 1906, Horace Kephart wrote his classic book, CAMPING AND WOODCRAFT. In it, he described filling his canteen from a clear babbling brook on the side of a mountain. About a hundred yards further
upstream, he discovered a rotting deer carcass in the stream with all the water passing over and through it.
You go right ahead and keep drinking from lakes and rivers.
