Our 2004 Rockwood has a jacknife sofa. After accounting for the armrests at the end, its too short for adults. Our kids sleep on it. There is an uncomfortable area where the folded back meets the bottom of the sofa because the two parts have different softness (or hardness). Unfortunately, when the sofa is folded down into a bed, it leaves a gap of about 8-10" between the wall and the edge of the sofa, just enough room for a child to fall down into. To make matters worse, there is an outside access door right there under the sofda to get to the storage under the sofa from the outside. The door frame sticks out past the wall right where the kid falls behind the sofa. You get the picture-bad design everywhere. After a few nights of this, my kids started to sleep on the floor.
