Hitch setup is the key. I towed a 34' TT for 10 years with a Chevy 2500HD and never had any sway. I used a round bar Eaz-Lift hitch with Reese Dual Cam system. Rock solid weight distribution and excellent sway dampening from the Dual Cam.
Going down the road I see all kinds of WD hitches set up incorrectly. Most often it's having the bars cranked up so high that the ends are only a couple inches away from the snap up bracket hooks. Aye carumba, if those folks would just do a little research they would understand you tilt the hitch head to get weight transfer and the bars ride parallel to the TT frame for proper movement. But, they seem happy as larks and don't know any different so I guess ignorance is bliss.
Hooking up a TT does take a little more time than a 5er, but it's not a deal breaker.
