Condensation on upper inside walls ral cold morn

So last night we had a cold rainy night, got down to 40 and I kept the inside around 65 but then turned it to 70 when we woke I notice if you put you fingers on what the call “ wallboard” up close to...

Opening a window at 40’degs outside ?
Ceiling fan on all the time also would take all the heat out..
Guess that doesn’t make sense to me..
Would I be better off going back to letting the ac fan come on when the furnace comes on
