I'd put it on a dolly.
Isn't it always better to tow something 4 down if it can be done?
It can be easier to hook up four down.
The advantages of a good tow dolly are pretty significant.
#1 is that there is no modifications to the towed vehicle
#2 the dolly has its own tail lights and brakes
When we were considering going to a Motorhome I was strongly considering an ACME dolly
There is nothing wrong with either method, dolly or four down.
Four down means you don't have to deal with the dolly at the campground. That was one of the reasons I wanted the Acme, it's light weight and built tough.
One more thing about towing four down...you must have supplemental braking to stay legal and you have to have working tail lights.
On edit it seems the MPV is a rear wheel drive, is this correct? If so you will need to disconnect the driveshaft to tow on a dolly or four down. Sounds like you are looking a a full trailer or a drive shaft disconnect system if they make one.
Thanks!
