I had a close encounter with a wild pig while on the road to Big Bend Nat Park in TX. I was using a Reese anti sway hitch. Fine towing in a straight line BUT do a radical maneuver to avoid something and all bets are off. I was saved by remembering to activate the trailer brakes using the manual over ride. That means I got off the truck brake and it straightened itself out (Thank God) a really wild ride for only seconds but we did not flip! End result is I bought a Hensley Arrow hitch not cheap about 3K at that time BUT worth it. I have life insurance and that is what this hitch is also. I found a lot of info on a forum called HA HA hitch which means Hensley Arrow hitch apparatus. When money is not an issue but your life is I went for it and have been using it now over 5 years and do not want to tow without it. This is not an advertisement but only my experience. My old Reese hitch is sitting in a box in storage and will go back on my Nash 19B when I sell it soon.
