The the companion is the one with the 30 A plug installed. One the older companions the 30 A plug stuck out but the newer ones have the plugs mounted flush which means less chance of damage from from something hitting or bump into it. You will be pushing the GEN to it limits using one GEN at 30 A you really need to Gens mounted together to deliver 30 A
