My Dad actually has the other 2000w genny so we could couple them if we really wanted the AC. I heard it was better to have at least one of the companion gennys if you planned on using the AC due to its having the 30a plug. I'm guessing something like this is what I need then.

I don't think the one I listed above will work. The picture shows that it has a 4 prong male end but my Honda 2000 companion only has a 3 prong receptacle. Am I missing something?
Look again. It only has 3 prongs. Scroll over the photo and it enlarges it for an easier view.
