Tried selling father in laws Winnebago View on consignment as we me turned we had it. CW state would be simple to sell, I had taken it to shop for check engine light and brake pads warning light. Check engine light issue fixed, could not get brake issue to replicate. Took unit to CW who then informed me that windshield had a small crack, took it had windshield replaced, back to CW after rereading contract while they were checking unit for ant other issue they came and said brake light was on again. The brakes were all replaced about 6 months prior so knew they were fine. I did some checking and figured on my own it was a short in one sensor, problem was when I said I would take it back to shop they stated they would handle it after I signed agreement, at there shop rate and said if they couldn't fix it they would take it to a specialist which was the shop I had used. Then I would have to keep full coverage on it, not a problem but had to keep tank full of diesel also. Needless to say it seems that they were not going to lose any money if it sold because if someone wanted to buy it and found a problem then CW would repair it at there labor rate and take it out of our proceeds. They stated if it was safety related or coach workings it would be repaired by them without my permission. Needless to say told them it was a no go. Put on RVT and Craigslist sold in one week.
