I had several issues that lead to the recall to there Indiana manufacturing facilities eleven months After I took delivery of a Georgetown two years ago. My experience is that if anything more than cosmetic work is required, the dealer, may have the capability to repair and back charge but the contractual responsibility is clearly back to Forrest river. Read your bill of sale. I would certainly verify that forest river has agreed to do the fix and has developed a repair plan. The odds of forest river having been contacted should be considered questionable. Ask the dealer for their contact. Call customer service forest river and ask for followup on your unit including serial number.
I found the FROG, forest river users group to be be an excellent source of info directly to your model. Sign up for free and you will be able to ask many questions and get user tested answers regards the technical issues
Forest River took the list that the dealer said they could not manage, asked me for a list of any additional deficiencies I might have, and did a third list of inspection items they found while checking the RV. At their expense it was transported to Ia and back. My only expense was the time and miles put on the unit. They were very cordial and I did not ask for anything that was not their responsibility.
Followup is important, I would call once a week to stay in touch with the progress
