I owned three jaycos in the 2002-2008 time frame and all had the special Jayco 13.6 volt nonsmart converter that is not one that can be made a smart charger. You can just order a deck mount charger like I did and mount it in the storage area near the front of the tt so it is near the batteries on the tongue.I know you didn't want to hear this but Jayco did it to us in this time frame.

these, a 220 AH battery really should have more than 45 amps charging anyway and these go 90 Amps. Noted this would not charge as well as one near the battery, but saves on wiring hassles if that is an issue.
