The post I'm referring too though had an actual diagram of things powered by the converter. I was going to copy it for a friend. I guess it's possible I read it on another forum but I was thinking it was this one.

Which in some cases would be incorrect in that larger, heavier slides are often powered directly from the battery, not the converter or "distribution panel", as shown in that diagram. Mine is a small, shallow slide and is wired to the converter, not the battery.
