Why would I say that in jest. She's been diabetic for 4 years. Diabetes is common in canines. Most owners put them to sleep because they cannot afford the care. There are many spin off issues, like blindness from cataracts caused by the diabetes and loss of motor control.
She don't know she's diabetic and all animals have a right to live.
It's very expensive but she's our kid. How about 2 bottles of Humalin a month at 140 bucks a bottle plus accupuncture every 2 weeks at 65 bucks a shot plus a B12 shot and special diet.
She's been taking her injections for years, part of her feeding program.
Not in jest at all.
