If you wait until you need to prep, it's already too late. I know it's hard to do in a Trailer, but in a B&M, you should already have some {pre determined amount of time} food available.
Water is our weak spot, I keep 21 gallons of water that we carry when camping, always full. That is drinking water. Toilet flushing water I could get from the pond across the street. Even my next door neighbor made fun us... right up until I water was shut down due to a water main break, for approximately 36 hours. She needed water for her baby formula. We also have about 24 quarts of pressure canned water :)
WRT this virus, It's far far more contagious than the "flu". It is also having a much higher death rate, in some areas, that is not completely understood why. There is concern that a person can catch it a second time, and that's what is toasting people. It also has some unknown effect on the heart, speculated to disrupting the electrical impulse, but the mechanism is unknown.
