I don't really think that avoiding getting the coronavirus is likely. I think it's like a cold or flu. We are all going to get exposed to it, eventually. And for most of us it will just mean regular cold or flu symptoms.
It may be possible to delay exposure by being super clean. That's basically what the government is trying to encourage. (I mean the responsible people in the government.) They're hoping to slow down the spread, so that medical facilities have time to prepare, and so the peak is broader and not so sudden.
I'm hoping to delay my own exposure until I can get home to my family. And someone in another thread mentioned that her husband was going in for heart surgery so they were being very careful to avoid any types of pathogens before the surgery.
They say it will take about two years to develop a vaccine. I suppose a really hardcore boondocker could hide out that long :-).
