While a Dr's note may be the preferred action for many from the local sawbones, most rv types likely (and especially the retired folks) are not worried about that. Being forgiven a day away from the office is much less important than being free of the virus.
Maybe I am being overtly wrong, but, avoiding the virus altogether, is more important than attending a minor gathering of forgotten Jimmy Buffet, (or, insert group here) fans, other non necessary group fans or wannabee types here.
I just don't see the Dr's note helping RV'ers. We tend to be a splinter group that the rest of society tends to forget.
Embrace your solitude.
But, what about the lost income ? Those forgotten Jimmy Buffet fans spend money when they come to town. If everyone stays home (when they are not sick) and avoids events then there are going to be people that will loose there lively hoods. Along with businesses avoiding expansion, or even going broke. Then those people with less money to spend are more likely to get sick with what ever bug comes along the next time.
And, a lot of people can not afford to take a few days (much less 14 days) off from work.
What if your job is Fire person or Police person ?
What if you are out camping and need the police and they can not come to help because they are understaffed ?
If this expands to be a big thing (And that is still a if.) then they will close the parks. Where are the RV'ers going to go when everything is closed ?
I'm not in a panic and I'm continuing on with my life as usual. Well,, maybe I am actually spending a little more time out and about then what I usually do at this time of year.
I do think that everyone should, at least, consider the fact that it could be a boring spring until this thing blows over.
I find myself wishing that it would have all happened earlier in the winter. Then by now everyone would have had it and it would all be winding down.
Oh well, wishing for a thing does not make it so.
