The problem with these discussions about RVing/camping is that many take the approach that how they RV/camp is how most RV/camp; the costs and advantages/disadvantages they have also apply to most everyone else.
Here are my advantages
My own bed
My own bathroom (do not need to use port-a-johns)
My own kitchen (don't need to eat out every meal)
Stay at my destination (no commuting to and from a hotel)
Shelter present onsite (do not need to leave to go indoors)
No need to leash walk or pick-up after our dogs (property owners do not require it)
