When we still had a stick house, we cancelled the land line phone and went down to one cell phone. We cancelled cable and got Directv. We took the receiver with us when we traveled. Now that we full time, we still only have one cell phone and Directv 2 receivers. We also have a Wilson Sleek booster for the cell phone and it also works for the Verizon Mi-Fi hotspot. When we are at parks that have wi-fi we use theirs for email and browsing the internet. For secure transactions we use our Mi-Fi. That way, we usually stay within our monthly allotted data allowance.
