for camping just get dvds. you don't have to have that expense of travelling with dish/directv or whatever. I buy those cheap dvds to have some action movies to watch while traveling when I know 'over the air' or cable won't happen probably. Also I borrow dvds from friends to take and return when I get home :)
at home cut to basic costs.
hubby has cell phone for $33 month. more than enough. I have no phone. hate them.
we are cable tv + and land line and internet. $165 month
his phone and total is $198 a month for it all...which even then is too much LOL
right now we don't travel longer than 2 or a bit more weeks at a time so I am not looking into internet/tv/ all that mess when a longer trip is planned. will be wondering what I need when we retire and hit the road then.
