The Demco Commander tow bar weighs 41 pounds and costs about $500 on Amazon. It is rated for 6000 lbs. The Demco Base plate is $300 on Amazon. I installed them myself. Any body shop can install the baseplate. I use a 2012 Equinox on the "family" trips.
