LOL.. too funny. It's a different world now that gas stations have become grocery stores.
I don't have any problen blocking two pumps while I pump $100+ worth of gas. Meanwhile, the car onthe other side of the pump just parks there while the driver and sixpassengers go inside and gdt their breakfast sandwiches and use the resrroom before coming back out and pumping $5 worth of gas. Then waiting some more while they try to find enough money to pay, then go back in to pay for the gas. By then, I have pumped 75 gallons, paid up, and have travelled 10 miles down the road. - Johno02ExplorerI don't have any problen blocking two pumps while I pump $100+ worth of gas. - tjfogelbergExplorerJust filled up the Cl C ar Costco in Burnsville, MN. I go early to avoid the lines. 2.119 vs 2.189+ at other stations.
- korbeExplorerI would continue to use the pumps until I am asked by an employee, or read it somewhere.
- TripleEExplorerWe stopped at a Costco with our 40 foot diesel towing a car. Yes, we took up all three pumps but the station wasn't busy (not in Calif). The attendant didn't say a work other than "nice rig". The only odd thing was the car with older ladies in it who waited behind us instead of pulling into one of the open pumps! Guess they really like the outside pump. And yes, some Costco's sell diesel.
- WyoTravelerExplorerFor a penney or 2 a gallon it is a PITA waiting in line that long to save maybe 1 or 2 dollars.
- IdaDExplorerI'll care when Costco starts selling diesel. That said, I do see motorhomes at our Costco getting gas all the time.
- downtheroadExplorerCostco is one of the most successful companies in the country..they know who their customers are. They sell bizillions more gallons of fuel to passenger cars and light trucks than to motorhomes.
They design their facilities to fit their primary customers...cars light trucks. Sure they want to sell to motorhomes also and will continue to do so...but we are not their primary concern. - 2oldmanExplorer III wouldn't go near the Costco stations I've seen. Too small.
