And ide love to see a diesel PU getting 15 mpg towing 15k plus lbs!!! Since that seems to be what people are claiming. If not, the actual mileage of 11 wouldn't sway me one bit to get a diesel. If and when the time comes and I wanted a diesel it would be a pre DEF Cummins.
There's nothing wrong with gas, my wife owns a six banger. ( sorry couldn't resist, it's one of my inherent flaws) ;)
I will say I would never claim those kind of fuel mileage ratings either, I can get 12 plus (via what the dash is telling me) pulling 10,000 pounds loaded though. I also don't worry about being stranded on side the road either.
