Creaking sound on one side when arriving/parking

If you just hand tightened the spindle nut as you say then likely they are not tight enough. Tighten as mentioned by corvettekent above with a wrench. It's also quite possible the bearings and races are now damaged. While you may have the ability to do these things it sounds like you don't necessarily have the experince to or skills to do them. You need to consult an experienced mechanic for this stuff.
