We're gonna head out full-time in 1 month (can't wait!). I've got a discover card that gets lousy points and most camp grounds won't take discover anyways. I have a visa but it's tied to my banking ...

I might be applying. There seems to be two cards I would want to consider.
The PenFed Platinum Rewards Visa® Card
5 points on gas purchases paid at the pump*
3 points on supermarket purchases*
1 point on all other purchases*
and
the PenFed Platinum Cash Rewards Visa® Card
5% cash back on gas purchases paid at the pump**
0.25% cash back on all other purchases**
which is 2.5 points.
Since most of my purchases are gas and food this might be the best choice.
Any comments?
