You asked about avg campground prices, well I looked back at the month we went from cg to cg almost everynight and the avg per nite was $20.471. That included a welcome center or 2 while driving thru the nite trying to make it to the next person to see and a rest area and truck stop too. Oh there was day we stopped to see some gaming friends and we decided at the last minute to spend the nite parked in their yard, one of the best nites of the trip. The least was $21 in Milton, Florida and the most per nite was $50.40 in Sarasota, Florida.
We very rarely made reservations as we had only had a certain amount of time and we had thought we would try to see most of our various family members, we will NOT be in such a hurry again ...... and we will NOT try to see that many family members again at once. We did 7k miles from Lancaster, CA to FL to MI and back to Lancaster, CA.
