Crosstrek/ready brake

Al, I also bought a Crosstrek to use as a daily driver and to tow behind our Class C. I bought the Ready Brake System, but due to a stupid on my part (crushed my right hand pinkey-healing in a splint) I havent been able to install the Ready Brake.
I know the instructions say not to install the cable fitting in the double wall area, but for the life of me can't figure out why it would make any diference, unless the threaded fitting on the end is not long enough to go through the double wall area.
I've got to wait till my hand heals so I can do a proper check of where I'll be able to drill the mounting hole.
In the meantime I'm gonna call Ready Brake and see what they say, and I'll let you know.
