I had an inside rear tire on my diesel pusher explode in Mojave California a dozen years ago .
We were coming back from outdoor resorts/cathedral city and were in the vicinity of Edwards AFB .
I had purchased the coach used and the front and outside rear tires were new when I bought it .
I did not check the inside rear duals .
We did not have a fire .
