DAVISON, MI

I don't live in Davison but I do live a little ways going north on M-15 to Vassar. I think it is a nice area. Not sure where you work but I-69 is close. I don't go to Davison a lot but when I do I go to Williams Gun Sight there in Davison. I would maybe do a search on the school ratings if you have school aged children and even if you don't it will help with resale. I guess I never here anything bad about it.

As I read this forum, I guess I never thought I would see Davison Mi mentioned. This was the town I grew up in and graduated from High school in. (Class of 62) I can't give you an answer to your question, because I moved away in 1965 and the area you speak of was nothing but farm land at that time. A google map search of the area now shows many houses along thoses roads you mentioned in your post.The Davison area was always a nice area to live and I don't think that has changed much over the years. The only RV related information I can relay is that if you own a 5th wheel. the Hensley Air Ride Hitch is made there on M-15 south of town. Sorry I couldn't help, but Thanks for the memory.

My mail goes to Davison (I stay in Richifield twp half the summer) if you buy that house let me know and you can come swim in the park's pool when I'm there on me. or take a tour if you like. But if you do that by all means see me.. There are things the sales folks do not tell you.

DW grew up on the corner of S Vassar and Hill Rd. Google maps satellite view looks like the area is still fairly countrified.

Don't know specifics on the area for housing, but on a good note if you happen to buy in the area you'll be close to Whitey's Restaurant for their fish. It's AWESOME!!

Want to find out about a neighborhood you are thinking of living in then go back at night after the people get home from work.....Or in my case we took on a needy family for thanksgiving one year when I was in the service. We got their name and address from the Salvation Army . When we went to deliver the 400 dollars worth of food, after speaking to the mother we got there about 5 minutes later only to find she was not there. The young boy who lived in the apt. said just put it on the porch. We could not do that because we had frozen food and ice cream and milk etc. stuff that had to be refrigerated. We convinced him that it needed to be put in the refrigerator. He allowed us to come into the kitchen and low and behold they had 2 refrigerators. Both full of food......I did notice that there were no vehicles parked in the parking lot of this sprawling complex. Which we thought was odd. We came back that night and wow newer autos were parked every where. We determined that they were hiding from welfare and social workers checking to see if the residents were in fact in need of assistance.....So you will find out the dirt on the residents....

I thanked M Go Blue for the memory, so here is a Thanks to you as well. I lived in Davison in the 50s and 60s and Whitey's was our favorite place to go for fish then. With another 50 years of "practice", AWESOME should be an understatement. I suppose they are still located to the north and below the RR tracks on M-15?

Been there. (Just a bit over a week ago) was not all that impressed. Rather go to Archies. lower prices.
