Ok, now one other option. Toss the bothersome day night shades and put in venetian blinds. I really hated not being able to "stick my finger" in the slats and look out. Or be able to adjust them to allow a little light in and still see out. They can be cut to any length at the store and are really cheap.
My wife turned me loose a couple of months ago and in two days our 40 footer had all new shades.
When running the fantastic vents they allow air in and can direct it up or down. Those darn day night things are all or nothing.
Just my two cents but give it some thought.
