It would appear that the problem is folks aware of short yellows "panic stopping " because they can't afford the fines.
It would be less amusing to some of the posters here were they to get numerous fines from a single pass through a city with these cameras catching their campers going through a yellow they didn't even see.

I think you get it. Lousy or impaired drivers run into people. They make lawyers and insurance company's rich while they injure and kill people just going down the road............

ok everybody, just go ahead and drive any way the H*** you want to drive and screw the law. Go ahead and do that what YOU think is right in your own mind! Unfortunately, we humans are not able to police ourselves, so the government has to do it for us! There'd be no need to ever put a camera anywhere if people OBAYED the rules of the road, and quit think THEY are the EXCEPTION and can just do anything THEY want and the rest of the world has to give way to THEM! Go ahead, your disregard to the basic of all driving rules "STOP" at red lights, mean nothing any more. Yahoo! I'm going to just start ripping through them too!.
