Dealer Praise, Nashville TN, Cullum and Maxey

On the first leg of an extended trip, the motor on one of my stabilizers went out. Stopped at the CW in Nashville TN. Was told they could get to me in about two weeks. Decided to get back on the road and hope for better luck elsewhere. A few feet down the service road from CW, I spotted a local RV dealer, Cullum and Maxey. I figured it was worth a shot.

Even though they were very busy, the Service Manager, Tonya, told me she would get someone to look at it. Yes, I needed a new motor. No, we don't have any in stock. But, we will see if there is anything we can do. An hour later, I am on the road with admittedly a temporary fix ( they took the motor apart and replaced a spring). Only charged for an hour labor. There is no way CW would have done that.

I am thinking that I may want to go ahead and order a spare motor.

Anyway, Kudos to Tonya, Kiowa, and the folks at Cullum and Maxey.

  • My DW has dealt with those folks since early 1970's, and we bought a trailer sight unseen from them- called the salesman that had been there 30 years, told him what we wanted, arranged for financing over the phone, drove and picked it up, kept it for years.

    Great folks.
