Not sure how much or how bad you need what they owe you but you could find a bank other than the one you have now and open a free checking account, get your check sent there and then close it out.
I wouldn't have a problem letting Forest River deposit directly into my account. I deal with car dealers daily and they almost NEVER write a check right after the work is done. Always at least 30 days.
