Death Valley

I am sitting in the fifth wheel in one of the driest places on earth and it wont stop raining!!!!!! This has been a great trip and really neat to see it rain here. The only bummer is Scotty's castle doesn't need more rain in that canyon. I will know tomorrow what the total is it could be 1/2 of the annual total rainfall

    When we went through last Oct or Nov it had just flooded the place and half of the road were closed. Notice that there are no culverts anyplace since it "never" rains there...........

    The desert is no place to be when it rains. Be careful if you're driving any backroads. Sorry about Scotty's Castle. It's a highlight.
