Depreciation of new RVs

Some time ago there were several posts regarding the seemingly excessive depreciation of RVs. I can't find anything now, so does anyone have a good guide of what to expect?

  • Shoot, RV's aren't like cars where you figure you can look it up on Kelly's and get an idea, because the pricing for new units is all over the map. The new prices can vary $10,000-$20,000 depending on where you bought it. The prices for used models seems to be fairly consistent, but again the amount of depreciation depends on the amount you paid originally.

I think it's a lot like real estate pricing: location, location, location.
